My name is Abby Che and I am a student at the University of Rochester majoring in Audio Music Engineering and minoring in Digital Media Studies.

 

       While the topics of my projects vary, they center around the themes of mental health and creative expression. My photo project focuses on the concepts of isolation and social anxiety, especially regarding the process of re-entering society after a long period of isolation. In my video project, I explore the process of falling asleep and dealing with insomnia, which is prevalent in people with anxiety. My graphic design project is centered around artistic expression amongst students, particularly with the paintings and messages in the tunnels. With my Twine project, I chose to create a story-driven game in which the player uncovers clues that lead to a hidden piece of poetry.
